Lucky Strips Fly Company 

Lucky Strips Fly Co. is a fly fishing guide service that is built to tailor to the individual and their interests of fly fishing. We provide services for all skill levels from no prior experience and looking to learn more about the pursuit of freshwater fish on the fly rod to those who have been involved in the sport of fly fishing for years.

We offer expertise in Fly Casting Instruction, Entomology Education, Conservation/Restoration practices, and methods of exploring freshwater resources in Virginia.

Our Main focus is fly fishing trips, we do accommodate to those looking to target trout on the Smith River with traditional spin fishing gear, during these trips we do not provide rods, reels, and lures/bait for the day and leave that to the angler.

We provide the boat and local knowledge of the resource we look to share with others. Lunch/Beverages provided on all full day trips both spin or fly.
